World Islamic Propagation and Humanitarian Services is an independent non-governmental organization (NGO) registered with Administrator General of Trustees, Government of Tanzania, as a religious and charitable humanitarian trust. It is led by a board of trustees and an elected chairman.

WIPAHS promotes rural development  through education and self sustainable projects that are used to promote the well being  of the community regardless of sex, race or religion.

Economic Upliftment Projects

In order to remove poverty, WIPAHS has initiated with the help and support of the donors a scheme of creating employment and economic upliftment of the local community through providing of assets such as sewing machines and bicycles or sponsoring small-scale business.

More than 100 people have been provided with sewing machines for less than 70% of the cost price, while almost 60 bicycles were give to teachers to help them cover their daily transport costs.

A group of 30 ladies have successfully started small scale businesses with sponsorship from WIPAHS. The capital investment is refunded back to help others.
