World Islamic Propagation and Humanitarian Services is an independent non-governmental organization (NGO) registered with Administrator General of Trustees, Government of Tanzania, as a religious and charitable humanitarian trust. It is led by a board of trustees and an elected chairman.

WIPAHS promotes rural development  through education and self sustainable projects that are used to promote the well being  of the community regardless of sex, race or religion.

Education

Education is an important factor in a man's life. The importance of education has been various prophetic traditions e.g.:
The Holy Prophet Muhammed (SAWW) says:

  1. "seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave"
  2. "seek knowledge even if you have to travel as far as china"

In recent times the emphasizes of education has been publicized in various sectors of development and lack of education is related to the miseries of life.

WIPAHS believes that the best way to eradicate poverty and to strengthen a person's ethics and character is to provide quality education and earn in order to support oneself, eliminate poverty and create job market, thus they can support themselves and their families. Thus diseases, poverty, illiteracy, wiill automatically disappear in time to come.
